The conversations here are both biblically-based and mental-health informed, as I am both a follower of Jesus and counseling graduate student working towards becoming a licensed professional counselor/mental health services provider. Why Unity Matters
Setting the atmosphere for season 3, where love is always the answer! Season 3 is focused on exploring mental health from a cultural lens and understanding how to apply cultural humility to all aspects of our lives. I will be sharing my own experiences as a therapist working with minorities, as well as my own experiences as a Hispanic woman. Above all, love is the thread that connects these episodes and focusing on letting our faith in Jesus guide us in navigating these various cultural topics.
